USDA Rural NJ Grant Resources for Businesses

Rural Energy for America Program that provides up to 50% grant funds for renewable energy or energy efficiency projects. Maximum grant is $1M towards a $2M total project cost. These funds can be used along with NJ Clean Energy Program funds. For very large renewable energy or energy efficiency projects, we can do a loan guarantee that can finance up to 75% of the project costs.

Business & Industry Loan Guarantee Program that provides 80% loan guarantee to a lender for their business client to buy, develop, repair, modernize buildings or purchase equipment, inventory, supplies. May also be used (in most cases) to refinance debt.
