Salem County Special Services School District
Providing high quality, cost-effective programs and services to the schools and districts of Salem and Cumberland Counties, where adults with special gifts serve students with special needs.
District Goals
- Foster a safe, healthy and inclusive learning environment for all students, families and staff to promote positive learning experiences.
- Identify and set developmentally-appropriate expectations for all students to meet individual student goals.
- Increase student achievement levels while addressing the unique learning needs of each student by creating meaningful and engaging opportunities.
Our Schools
- The Daretown Campus serves school aged students with behavioral and emotional disabilities from Salem and Cumberland Counties.
- The Salem Campus serves middle and high school aged students with disabilities from Salem and Cumberland Counties. Students may have the option of attending the vocational program or transitional career program (TCP).
- The Cumberland Campus Program serves school aged students with severe disabilities from Salem and Cumberland Counties.
